Chain Film Festival NYC 2020

Chain Film Festival is now Live! Beauty’s Sleep is screening in the Grindhouse block followed by a Q&A with the director and cast, available from now until 13th December. Tickets are $11 for each screening block or $75 for an all access pass and can be purchased online here and we look forward to seeing you virtually there!
Coast to Coast US Festival Awards

The last couple of weeks have seen Beauty’s Sleep win an Honorable Mention Award at the Global Shorts 2020 Festival in LA whilst Organ Failure has been selected for the Indie Shorts Awards in Miami - screening details available soon. Meanwhile we are getting ready for the Chain NYC Festival screening Beauty’s Sleep online between 3-13 December and we are having a Talkback interview tomorrow to be shown along with the films so we can be there virtually! London Rocks Win + Screening

We are so excited that Organ Failure has won Best Microfilm at London Rocks International Film Festival! The full festival is now live online, running 24-31 October in the Rocks Screening Room and web-tickets are available from the events page. There are also real live screenings at the Whirled Cinema in south London on 30-31 October and Organ Failure will have her big screen premiere 7-9.30pm on Saturday 31st - limited tickets still available due to the Tier 2 compliant seating, but it’s going to be amazing!
Texas Screening

Beauty’s Sleep will be screening at the Austin Micro Short Festival live at Doc’s Drive in Theatre on Sunday 13th September at 8pm! This will be our first drive-in screening which is rather fun, so to all our American friends please enjoy on our behalf as we can’t travel to be there.

Hello and welcome to alexsultoonfilms.com and this the first official news post. It's quite a special one as not only is it the first and a birthday post at that, but it marks the first film festival selection for Organ Failure by the Independent Shorts Awards in LA, so now all 5 films have been selected for IMDb qualifying festivals. 5 short films in 2 years and every one a winner is a very exciting milestone for us and gives us great encouragement for future projects. Moreover, all 5 films have had very tight restrictions on production for the various challenges they have been made for - 90 seconds for Depict, 1 reel of Super 8 and no editing for Straight 8 and 1 allocated shooting weekend at Met Film, so film #6 will mark a watershed in production as we head back into longer form shorts and beyond…and we look forward to you joining us on the journey!
